• What’s involved:
To assist with the overall leadership and management of the client's "Life Centre" including operations, programming, sales, promotion, development and staffing. Ensuring it provides excellent customer service whilst achieving business income, financial and operational targets.
To assist with the management the Sutton Life Centre in order to achieve the fairer, safer and greener objectives of the Council.
To assist in advising Council committees and the Executive Head of Leisure & Libraries regarding all issues concerning the Sutton Life Centre.
To manage the Sutton Life Centre in accordance with the Council’s priorities within the agreed budgets.
To assist in providing leadership and strategic management to the Leisure & Libraries Service.
To make a significant contribution to the corporate management of the Service Unit, assisting the Executive Head of Leisure & Libraries to formulate, implement and review operational policies and respond to new work demands.

- the above must have included responsibility for managing staff, budgets and contractors.
